London

The web this morning is full of people expressing shock and outrage over what has occured, and hoping that the people responsible will be caught. I don't think there's really anything I can add to this which wouldn't be utterly redundant; other people far more eloquent than me have said everything which needs to be said.

If you managed to miss it, the MFAT number for inquiries is 0800 432 111. Given the number of casualties, I'd be surprised if there aren't kiwis among them. We just have to hope they're some of the luckier ones.

  1. Also the Red Cross has established a freephone number for New Zealanders in New Zealand who are concerned about friends and relatives. (0800 REDCROSS or 0800 733 276).
