ACT auctioned them over TradeMe (along with "autographed t-shirts, book posters and documents dating back to before the official foundation of the ACT party") in a desperate attempt to raise campaign funds...
Nobody's deceased yet. In fact, Rodney at least will probably be back.
But geez, ACT can barely breathe these days without having its actions labelled "desperate" now can it? What sort of innovative campaigning would NOT be labeled desperate on your terms?
Jeeze you'd think they'd have the decency to wait a few weeks. Isn't it a bit tasteless to sell the silverware before the person is deceased?
