Apparantly, I've now been blocked by Webmarshal at at least one government department. Though I'm not sure whether its for obscenity, because I've slagged off their minister a few times, or out of a general hate for blogger. Fortunately, readers can still see my LiveJournal feed.
Is there some sort of badge I can get for this?

ReplyDeleteThere are two lists of blocked words in WebMarshal, a long list and a short one. They are probably using the long one, which is very comprehensive, but does not block words like "bloody" that are only considered swearing in certain contexts.
ReplyDeleteI have various items of Marshal Software schwag - perhaps I should have them re-embroidered with "banned by..." and sell them on TradeMe.
Because obviously, anyone to the left of Ghengis Khan is clearly a communist...

ReplyDeleteIce: Yes. OTOH, other highly distracting sites (such as LiveJournal) are not blocked. Guess its all down to the vagaries of people's IT managers...
