Spam attack

When I get up in the morning to discover I have 50 emails in the NRT dropbox, there's only one answer: spam. I've spent far too much time cleaning it out, and it still seems to be continuing.

Blogger has word-verification to limit spam, but I'm loath to use it, as it would make posting comments more difficult for real users. We'll just have to wait and see...

  1. Word verification isn't too intrusive - not like blocking anonymous comments. Just don't do whatever David Farrar has that makes comment processing take forever.

  3. Since the spam attack still seems to be continuing, word verification is now on. Hopefully they're using a bot, rather than some poor underpaid moron.

Though you really have to wonder at these people's desperation if they're spamming here. While I get traffic, I don't get that much...
