More "terrorism"

What do you have to do to be detained as a terrorist in the UK (other than criticise Tony Blair, that is)? Sing along to The Clash. Harraj Mann was dragged from his plane and detained by armed anti-terrorist officers after the taxi driver who had driven him to the airport became concerned about his singing in the backseat and alerted authorities - "London Calling" apparently being suspicious if you are British-asian. And thanks to this, he'll probably be in a database somewhere and face increased scrutiny every time he tries to fly.

I guess he just has to be thankful that he wasn't shot.

  1. With the thought police out in force, maybe he should've stuck to "Rock the Casbah".

  2. The Taxi Driver must be working for the Clampdown?
