Good to see Rodney's got his priorities sorted. The bill can wait another day. I mean, what would the point be of introducing a rates cap bill to a Labour Government who believes any form of taxation should not necessarily even be capped at 100%.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it would be nice to see Labour voters getting out on the streets and demanding the rates cap bill be taken up by Labour since the opposition aren't working hard enough.
Or would they be demanding the bill get voted down as soon as possible so they can get on with devising new taxes, say on dancing. A fun tax. That would send a strong message to any MP considering the odd bit of personal development.
