US Evangelical Christian leader Pat Robertson in Jerusalem:
"For all of our sake, Israel cannot lose".
Says he ias "dismayed" by the "growing amount of virulent anti-Semitism in Europe" as witnessed by protesters wanting a cease-fire...
"He prayed with Israeli PM just after the Security Cabinet had authorized broadening Israel's land offensive in Lebanon and hailed the Israeli PM for his "willingness to take on one of the most serious challenges" in the world today....
LAST YEAR this Mr Robertson said that former PM's Ariel Sharon's stroke was "divine retribution" for having evacuated the Gaza Strip and indicated a willingness for peace with Palestinians.
"Many Evangelical Christians saw the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza as a retreat from a biblical prophecy of Jewish sovereignty in the Holy Land, and similarily view any further Israeli pullout from the West Bank as an anathema... "
WHAT DOES THIS ALL REALLY MEAN?
It seems to mean that the "Pro-Israel" lobby in the US is an anti-Jewish Christian Evangelical Movement that wants more war, expects Israelis to be the foot soldiers in this endless war and that at the end of it all - The End Of The World - well at that point Jews get to become Christians, and Moslems get to go to hell.
Malaysia urges nations to break ties with Israel ... "This is one incident in history where the world seems to close its eyes ... as if the lives of Muslims or the Arabs or the Lebanese are not as important as others," Malaysian Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar told a news conference." - www.ap.org
