Che retires

Public Address's Che Tibby has officially retired from blogging. That's what joining the public service will do for you, I guess. It's a shame, and I'll miss his valuable contributions on multiculturalism and citizenship, but I'm sure he'll do good work in the Unnamed Government Department he is now working for.

  3. i've always thought that's a cop out.

i can understand how people do it, and mean no offence to those who do.

but no. will just retire from the blogsphere while i'm on top of my game. no point doing 'a lomu'.

have been working with some guys around podcasts tho, so if that flys i'll let RB know and maybe he can advertise them.

  6. Che: i've always thought that's a cop out.

Not to mention not really getting you around the true problem of the Public Service Code of Conduct. Sure, it hides the fact you're a public servant, and avoids making the conflict of interest obvious, but it undermines the integrity and professionalism of the public service.
