VicLabour has organised a "policy impact evening" on the repeal of section 59, featuring various speakers from the law school, social policy department, and NGOs discussing s59 and what the effects of its repeal will mean.

The bill is due back from select committee at the end of October, and it will be interesting to see what their findings are.
