While we're on the topic of farmers being an environmental problem, Sunday Star-Times columnist Rod Oram is giving a talk in Auckland on the topic of "100% Impure New Zealand: A View From Abroad":
When: Tuesday, November 7th, 6pm
Where: Red Lecture Theatre, UniTec, Carrington Rd, Mt Albert
How Much: Free.
No doubt, Don Brash will regard the topic as "treasonous".
Wasn't it Labour who said that Brash was unloyal to NZ and ashamed to be an NZer because he criticised things?
ReplyDeleteWasn't it Winston Peter's who called journalist's behaviour treasonable for criticisng him?
Brash used the word in relation to people criticising NZ from overseas. Given his habit of accusing Labour of "stealing" elections and being "the most corrupt ever", after they won a democratic election, which is reported in overseas media, I think Brash should be more careful with his labels. As, of course, should others mentioned in the comment above.
