A white christmas?

I'm sorry, but snow at christmas in the southern hemisphere is just wrong. It's the summer solstice, for Cthulhu's sake!

  1. It's not *that* unusual - the southerly breakouts seem to last through to January these days, so there is a reasonable chance of snow on the southern hills at this time of year.

  2. Eh? I've had multiple white christmases in NZ, you just have to be anywhere in the south island open to southerlies, particularly in the alps, at around 500m altitude or above, and snow can be an occurrence at any time of the year. After all, there is nothing between us and the antarctic.

  3. And here in New York, it's been 13 degrees and sunny. Sucks to be us.
