Another Blair crony falls

Lord Goldsmith, the British Attorney General (in)famous for changing his advice on the legality of the Iraq war and for covering up massive corruption by BAE, has resigned. I'll echo Blairwatch in saying "don't let the door bang your arse on the way out".

So, who's next to go?

  2. In about 84 hours.

    Bush is welcome to him.

  3. Is it just me or is making Blair a Middle East envoy, moral considerations aside, something that doesn't make a great deal of sense? He is not highly regarded in the area. It'd be like make Oliver North ambassador to Nicaragua.

  4. Or John Bolton ambassador to the UN.

Heh. Blair goes, and Labour rises in the polls. I think the public have spoken.
