With the House sitting under urgency to discuss the Auckland Dictatorship Bill, you'd expect our MPs to be packing the House to deal with this "urgent" matter. But take a look at Parliament TV at the moment - there are fewer than twenty people in the chamber. So, underming Auckland's elected local bodies is "urgent" - but not so urgent that any MP (let alone the Minister of Local Government) needs to actually show up for it...
