The latest piece of UK government Islamophobia: being a member of a university Islamic society - the Muslim equivalent of your local university Christian fellowship - now means that your personal details are taken by the UK government and given to the CIA.
If the UK wants to give the impression that it regards all Muslims as suspected terrorists, and thereby alienate and radicalise the Muslim community, I can't think of a better way to go about it.
