Today is a Member's Day, though a fairly boring one. There's a couple of boring local bills to get out of the way first, followed by Paul Goldsmith's uncontroversial Electronic Transactions (Contract Formation) Amendment Bill, which should whizz through. Then we have Home Harawira's Education (Breakfast and Lunch Programmes in Schools) Amendment Bill, which National will vote down on the basis of their one-off charitable donations to their corporate friends. If we're lucky, the House will make a start on Clare Curran's Electronic Data Safety Bill.
There should be a ballot for two or three bills tomorrow. The only new bill to be put in the ballot since last time is Brendan Horan's Land Transport (Promoting Safe Driving and Compliance with Speed Limits) Amendment Bill, which requires speed cameras to be clearly signposted so everyone can slow down for them.
