Contrast this with paper voting: I get to do it in private, my ballot doesn't BSOD, hackers don't change my vote for shits and giggles, Talent2 doesn't stuff it up, the ballot box doesn't get DDOSed, and the GCSB doesn't know who I vote for. Why on earth would you want to introduce all those vulnerabilities into the system? You'd either have to be utterly clueless, or hoping to exploit them somehow.
Our democracy is too important to do over the internet. Lets keep it analog.
