Another amazing coincidence!

Hager Book: Brash assisted to power by business lobby, New Zealand Herald, 24 November 2006:
Hager also details attendees at National Party corporate fundraisers and lists "high value" donors.

These include Alan Gibbs, Craig Heatley, David Richwhite, Diane Foreman, Doug Myers, Michael Friedlander, Peter Shirtcliffe and Rod Deane.

Queen's Birthday Honours: Michael Friedlander receives knighthood, Stuff, 7 June 2016:
Long-time philanthropist and property investor Sir Michael Friedlander says he has "come to terms with" receiving a knighthood this Queen's Birthday.

Friedlander, who is also one of the country's wealthiest people, was made a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to philanthropy.

In fact, its just amazing how many of the people on that list have been given honours by National. Heatley and Foreman got CNZMs, Myers and Deane were given knighthoods (Shirtcliffe had already been given one by Roger Douglas). But I'm sure its just a terrible, awful-looking coincidence.
