Today is a member's day, and its likely to be a slog. Sue Moroney's Parental Leave and Employment Protection (Six Months’ Paid Leave and Work Contact Hours) Amendment Bill is due for its committee stage, and with National still threatening an unconstitutional financial veto its likely to be contentious. There's a small possibility that they'll wrap it up tonight, and be able to make a start on the committee stage of Adrian Rurawhe's (far less contentious) Official Information (Parliamentary Under-Secretaries) Amendment Bill - but if National filibusters, it'll be paid parental leave all night.
Because today will be all committee stages, there won't be a ballot tomorrow.
