Today is a Members' Day. First up is the committee stage of a local bill, the
Gore District Council (Otama Rural Water Supply) Bill. This will be followed by a couple of third readings for Andrew Bayly's
Arbitration Amendment Bill and Simeon Brown's
Psychoactive Substances (Increasing Penalty for Supply and Distribution) Amendment Bill. If the House moves quickly, it might make a start on the committee stage of Kieran McAnulty's
Employment Relations (Triangular Employment) Amendment Bill, but it is unlikely to get further than that. Even if it does, there's a pile of second readings stacked up, so there will be no ballot tomorrow.
