No Right Turn had its 100,000th visitor just a few minutes ago. They were logging on from somewhere in Eastern Europe, and (like many readers) using Mozilla. If this sounds like you, then congratulations. Unfortunately, there's no prize.
Meanwhile, I'm off to celebrate with a chocolate martini...

Well done there! I hit 50,000 this morning, so well done on hitting twice as many as me! How long have you been blogging for IS?

Congradulations to you from another liberal site, New European Times.
My real purpose in writing is a cheeky one, however. We have, on our liberal site, writers from many countries - with the US and UK the strongest group but only for the moment, we hope. We have no one from New Zealand writing posts for us, a country which for many reasons we all seem to have the highest regard.
Could one or two of you have a look at the site and maybe consider contributiing the occasional insight into New Zealand life and perspectives? At the moment, we have just asked our Hong Kong writer to cover events in your great country. That doesn't seem right!
You will find us on http://neweuropeantimes.com/ or just by clicking on
No great skill needed - just the enthusiasm to share thoughts on everyday life.
I apologise for writing in this uninvited way.

Aaron: Since February 2002. But I think it took me a year to reach the first 10,000 - there were fewer blog readers back then, and certainly fewer who were interested in what I had to say.

Congratulations I/S. I guess it's too late to advise against the chocolate martini...
I can report that I'm coming up on the 30,000 mark, but I'll be celebrating with a martini, extra dry. :-)

Congratulations. I got the 10,000th yesterday but obviously my blog appeals to a more select audience, mainly "curved cousins" in Dame Edna's phrase.
