We get a euthanasia law, I imagine. And I think the numbers are probably there for it.
Though Georgina Beyer's plan to keep her transgender equality bill on the ballot will restrict the scope for other private member's bills...
(Yes, United Future could throw a sulk and try and bring down the government. But then I think the Greens would probably step in and make political capital out of their unreliability...)

Given what I've read about the Oregon assisted suicide bill, reform only happens if the medical community is split over the issue, as it was there.

Then it might not happen. But then there wouldn't be a "problem" with Gordon Copeland being unable to stop it.
