Putting the law online

First Parliament, now the courts. I've been using the judicial decisions of public interest site in its various incarnations for a while, primarily to keep track of the Ahmed Zaoui case, but one of the things that has bugged me about it is that it is only a limited selection and the material on it tends to expire. Now, the Ministry of Justice has come to the rescue with a project to put all recent judicial decisions online. According to the introductory notes, it contains all Supreme Court decisions, the Court of Appeal from 2003, and the High Court from 2005 - and will have everything from now on within three days of a judgement being delivered. And they're all searchable, here.

Now, if only they'd start scanning in the backlog...
