Support the supermarket strike

If you want to support the supermarket distribution workers currently striking for a national collective agreement and equal pay for equal work regardless of location, you can now donate $20 by calling 0900 LOCK OUT (0900 5625 688).

  2. So is this a Koha ( Te Reo for Donation)
Of course it is a lockout.
I had a reply email back from Progressive
claiming that the Palmy Workers are
wanting a 30% increase. Can anyone confirm that
and if so 30% of what current base rate?.

  3. Bodmin: That's an outright lie. They're after 8% - and everyone else in the country is wanting the same rate as them (for historical reasons, Progressive couldn't sack everyone in PN and rehire them at lower wages, so everyone else gets paid less to do exactly the same work, in areas where living costs are arguably higher).
