NRT on the radio

I'm being interviewed about the sedition pledge on 95 bFM today at 13:00. You can listen in here.

Update: The podcast is here. I really need to learn to speak up on the radio...

Well, that didn't go too badly, though I missed the opportunity to talk about Paddy Webb, who was prosecuted while a sitting MP for a local government campaign speech, and lost his seat as a result - one of the better examples of the law being a danger to democracy.

There'll be a podcast up later, and I'll link to it when I notice it.

Zanavashi: listening to it again, its actually pretty bad. I'm far too quiet, and say "um" far too often.

Don't let that discourage you, happens to everyone. And you always notice it more than everyone else.

Excellent interview, despite the uhmmms.

The problem wasn't that you were too quiet, the problem is that you were on an unclear phone connection and the BFM studio techs didn't do a very good job of compensating for that and amplifying your voice to match the volume of the studio interviewer.

Psssssssssssst: CYM for an "enhanced" copy ;)
