The first round of voting in the Republican Movement of Aotearoa's online presidential election is now open. You can cast your ballot here. It's a simple preferential system, with the top five candidates going on to a second round. In practice, I'd expect a real election to have only one round of PV. I'd also expect it to have our usual defences against multiple voting. But this is an online exercise designed to highlight the issue, not the real thing.
