The Keep Our Assets referendum petition has reached its target number of signatures and will be resubmitted. They'd fallen short by 16,000, and they've collected three times that many. Hopefully that will be enough to make up for the inevitable duplicates and cases where people have simply forgotten they'd signed because it was so long ago...
The additional signatures will be submitted to the Clerk of the House, who will have them checked. And hopefully, this time, we'll get a referendum on National's asset-stripping plan.
