An amazing coincidence!

In 2014 the National government gave Tauranga businessman Paul Adams a gong. And in an amazing coincidence, he features in this year's return of national party donations:


But it gets better - because in addition to donating $20,430 unde rhis own name, he also appears to have donated another $18,000 through his company, Seventh City Finance. So, he gets a gong, and he gives the party that gave it to him nearly $40,000.

I guess that's just what they call "giving back".
