Prog Blog - an unofficial Progressive Party blog which still seems to be carrying a few grudges over the Alliance breakup...

just one or two!! sheesh

That really is bizarre. The blogger also seems to have some scary fetish for the word "reactionary".

Do you think it's written by Jim or Matt Robson? The JAPP doesn't have any other members does it?

i had a few other suspicions, ex Alliance people, but then the author wrote that they were never in the Alliance. seem to hate it a lot for someone who was never in it - i've not even seen Act people display that level of bile towards us. whereas former members have been known to approach that level of venom. all very strange.

Given the trenchant daily abuse towards Jim and Matt from Spanner, her comments about 'bile' are presumably ironic. Prog Blog exists because there are other strands of the left than the one that some parts represent -- and in Prog Blog's view, the other strands are not progressive at all. Prog Blog is progressive, not necesarily Progressive, but admires the Progressive MPs.As for Rich's comment - last Prog Blog heard, the Progressive Party had two thousand members, which is probably more than any of the other third parties (the Greens claim soemthing like that perhaps). All signed and presented to the E. Commision for audit. So let's see, Rich - you thought the Progressives were worthy of derison if they didn't have members; since they do have lots of members, they must be worthy of respect, right? Prat.
