We have a date

September 17th, just as everyone knew all along. And perhaps now, National will quit posturing and show us their sums...

judging from the comments on the blogosphere, its going to be a dirty campaign - really dirty. No quarter given or asked for. A fight to the death. May the best man, or woman win...

Just saw Campbell live. Campbell snickered like a schoolboy during Helen's spiel and patsied Don.

Looks like the bloggers are going to have to carry the weight of the real debate.

The networks think this is NZ idol.

I also wonder if they intentionally play down strategic MMP voting. I get the feeling that many still don't really understand the MMP environment.

I thought National was going to announce their policy 3 days after the election date was set, but Brash seemed to be indicating on the news that it won't be until 4 weeks before the election....

But Tony - National already has announced its policy. Whatever the subject, small tax cuts will be the answer.

I wonder if the timing of this was intended to coincide with Brashes RMA speech??????....Looks like somebodys scared......
