A final kick

And just for a final kick of the dead horse (pending further stupidity from Mapp, that is), in this morning's Herald, Brian Rudman calls Wayne Mapp's position as chief PC eradicator a humiliation and a "nonsense role", and wonders whether Mapp will

ever be able to return to Auckland University without sniggers following him down the corridors.

Unfortunately, it's behind the paywall, so you'll have to use the search function to read it.

Ah, yes, dear old Brian Rudman. I stopped sniggering at his columns when he loudly complained that Dick Hubbard hadn't been subjected to sufficiently rigourous policy questions during the campaign. Um, what the fuck were you doing Brian? And how many dedicated local body reporters does Auckland's only daily newspaper have these days?
And how many of them are going to be laid off to make the rumoured $300K coming out of the Herald's editorial budget this year?

You mean that Wayne Mapp does walk down university corridors?! Isn't he afraid of being pursued by the Giant Maori Lesbian Disabled DPB Solo Mother Antismoking Sex Workers
with their pitchforks...?

Getting rid of Garth "Vader" George, the talking points copier Sandra Paterson and the Maxim Mafia cut-and-paste job columns should save the Herald a packet.

Surely Garf Georj can't continue to exist without life support much longer? As for Sandra P, no-one's seen her for months, which may mean Granny has had a change of heart. And as for the Maxies, watch this space. Also, watch Paul Litterick's Fundy Post for any
further revelations
