Sacking Rickards

After three year's suspension on full pay, the police are finally moving to sack Assistant Police Commissioner Clint Rickards, charging him with six internal disciplinary offences over his admissions in court and his accusations against his investigators. Good. While Rickards was acquitted of rape, the predatory behaviour he admitted in court, his attitude towards his accusers, and his threats against his investigators make him unfit to wear a police uniform, let alone supervise other officers in investigating crimes against women. The sooner the police are rid of him, the better.
