A ballot for four member's bills was held today, and the following bills were drawn:
- Depleted Uranium (Prohibition) Bill (Phil Twyford)
- Smoke-free Environments (Removing Tobacco Displays) Amendment Bill (Iain Lees-Galloway)
- Environment Canterbury (Democracy Restoration) Amendment Bill (Brendon Burns)
- Gambling (Gambling Harm Reduction) Amendment Bill (Te Ururoa Flavell)
There were three new bills in the ballot today: Kevin Hague's Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Essential Financial Services) Amendment Bill, Keith Locke's New Zealand Bill of Rights Amendment Bill, and Raymond Huo's Immigration (Migrant Levy) Amendment Bill. I'll try and put together an "In the ballot" post covering some of the newcomers later this afternoon.
The full list of bills is on Red Alert.
