Last night three hundred mostly young people marched through Wellington to queer the night and protest against homophobia and transphobia. It was by all accounts a good protest, which has got a lot of people motivated. But the struggle doesn't end there. The Queer the Night campaign is holding a public meeting in Wellington next week to plan where to go next:
When: 19:00 - 22:00, Thursday, June 16
Where: Trades Hall, 126 Vivian St, Wellington
What: "discuss the strategies and tactics of how we can begin to build the movement required to create the social change".
