The remaining members of the Urewera 18 will receive a jury trial. Good. Without a jury, there was no hope of a credible verdict; whatever conclusion was reached would be indelibly tainted by the trial process. Now that won't happen, and we'll hopefully have a verdict we can have some confidence in. And that's good news, regardless of your opinions on the case.
