Public Address gets a forum

Public Address has just launched its Public Address System, an online forum to complement its posts. So, now you'll be able to comment on their excellent pieces, rather than having to resort to email.

The last thing they want is for it to descend into a sewer, so they will be "moderating for quality" in an effort to keep the creeps and trolls from driving people away. So, I guess the sewer will just have to stick to commenting on the RSS feed, rather than dumping their toxic effluent at source.

It looks very good. I am delighted that people are encouraged to use their real names. I was saying only today to my good friend Helen Clark (who is doing an excellent job, by the way) that this "blogosphere" cannot be taken seriously as long as people are allowed to hide behind anonymity. We all benefit from transparency - and that includes donations to political parties!

I have been a little busy lately, but I hope to have more free time to spend reading these blogs quite soon.

i'm wondering two things.

what the munters at sir humpties will find to whinge about. other than, "why can't we be trolls?"

and, why DPF hasn't mentioned it.

It looks very interesting. Great to see. Anything that acts as a potential portal into the blogosphere is a good thing.

Maybe they'll even have a link up to Sir Humphrey's one day?

And Che, you really have to lose the anger. It can't be good for you.
