Something to go to in Wellington

Parliament is having an open day on Sunday, complete with guided tours of the Beehive, Parliament Buildings, and Parliamentary Library. So, if you'd like to see the place where it all goes down, why not go along?

When: Sunday, 29th October, 10 am - 3:30 pm
Where: Parliament Buildings, Wellington.
Stupid Security Protocol: No cellphones or cameras.

Despite all the Parliament-watching I do here, I've never really visited the place. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do it this weekend.

They have hourly tours on other days, so even if you can't make the open day, there's little excuse to stop you visiting next time you're down:

Note though that this is a "special" tour; you get to go to a few extra committee rooms that you wouldn't usually. And the Chamber, which you don't when Parliament is sitting (but you can on non-sitting days during a session).
