The US and the UK are said to have a "special relationship". So what does this "special" relationship entail?
- It meant the UK turning itself into a giant nuclear target for the benefit of the US during the Cold War;
- It means the UK allowing its "partner" to use its territory to wage war on other countries;
- It means the UK sending soldiers to fight and die for America whenever its "partner" demands it;
- It means the UK turning over its citizens to face trial in US courts without any requirement for evidence (and without any reciprocal arrangement);
- Finally, it means the UK colluding in the illegal detention and even torture of its own residents by the US, then actively helping to cover up for its "partner".
