Dodging the topic II

Another one on Don's attempts to dodge the hard questions on his foreign policy stance:

The reality is it's a war filled world and our NZ servicemen have been on active duty since the Second World War. We have recently despatched another 150 SAS troops.

Sending troops to their potential death for their country is a serious business. Their blood is on all our hands.

No, I don't think the glove puppet that is Don is really ready for that sort of decision. He will be rolled shortly after the election by his own people one way or another anyway, as Nat history has shown.

Would I trust him with my life or that of my family? Based on his words...never.

Are tax cuts more important than human lives, not bloody likely.

Well said. If there is "an issue" in the world right now, it's Iraq and everything associated with it. Given that the mission is far from accomplished, Don's views may have ongoing signficance.

He won't answer the question because the answer is "yes" - a Brash-led government would have sent NZers to kill and be killed in that sorry debacle.
