29,000 out of work under National

The latest Household Labour Force Survey was released today, showing another drop in unemployment. But there are still 134,000 unemployed - 29,000 more than when National took office. Meanwhile, employers are brining in immigrants, despite there being over a hundred thousand unemployed kiwis - and the Herald credits this with "keeping a lid on wage increases".

This is National's New Zealand: mass unemployment and wages lagging behind inflation; ordinary kiwis getting ground down while foreigners take their jobs and foreign owned vampire banks helicopter obscene profits over the Tasman. But National's donors and cronies are doing well, and that's all that matters to the government.
