So, which party decided to stack the audiance with hooting chimpanzees?

I think both.

It wasn't distracting so much as frigging annoying.

According to a post this morning on Kiwiblog, the audience (composed of the respective party faithful) was encouraged by Ralston and Sainsbury to be noisy, and congratulated for doing so afterwards. Duh.

Cheers,

It was simply disgraceful. Whoever thumped their feet on the seats should have been thrown out.

How unbecoming eh Aaron? Certainly not the way in which the good people of Epsom would/should behave. Off with their heads, eh wot?

Anon - you think that political debates are enhanced by people thumping their feet on the studio seating?
