More tactical voting

ACT has thrown its support behind National's Bob Clarkson in Tauranga in an effort to unseat Winston Peters. This is good for two reasons: firstly, it increases the chances of Winston being de-seated, which will be a tremendous blow to his ego; and secondly, it gives ACT absolutely no grounds to complain if the left does the same thing to him in Epsom.

Hey, two things. Firstly, there is a sign at a school driveway near where I live that says "No Right Turn". Would you like it for your blog if I got a photo of it?

And secondly, is that your real email address in the left of your blog?

Anon: Thanks for the offer, but there's plenty of traffic signs round here to photograph if I need to.

The email is munged. Which bits need to be removed is left as an exercise for the reader.

I dont know if ACT opposing NZ first is actually bad thing for NZ first ! rather like the NAZI supporting NZfirst is not a good thing

Clearly Rodders is doing this in a bid to get National to do the same for him in Epsom, but the difference is that Rodney is not nobbling his own MP in pulling this stunt. I think he's left his run for Epsom too late. (Or perhaps I hope he has ;-) )

What's *especially* encouraging about this is that if Rodders' Tauranga ploy comes off and the latest poll is accurate, we may have exactly no NZFirst MPs whatsoever. Now wouldn't that be fine day for NZ politics! *Please please please*

Oh, oh, oh, please may Bob Clarkson make good and win. Oh, to see Winston lose, oh the humanity.

Just to wipe that smile of his face, just to see the media _finally_ get the better of his crowing. I await the evening of the 17th with baited breath.

I wonder if we'd see him without a suit if he lost, or is it perma-pressed on his actual skin?
